Footage shows multiple wind turbines ripped to shreds.

A massive tornado devastated the town of Greenfield, Iowa, on Tuesday, leaving at least two people dead.

“At least two fatalities and several injuries in the Greenfield area have been reported after nearly two dozen tornadoes across the state,” reported Fox Weather.

Remarkable footage captured one monster tornado south of Greenfield before it ripped through the town.

Drone footage showed the path of destruction after the tornado tore through the town, just 50 miles southwest of Des Moines.

NBC Nightly News got fact-checked by X Community Notes for claiming an “alleged” tornado hit Greenfield.

“It was not an ‘alleged’ tornado. It was a tornado,” the X team wrote, correcting NBC’s post.

CNN reports: “At least 18 tornadoes were reported in Iowa Tuesday – part of a torrent of storms that have left widespread power outages, structural damage and flooding across the US this week.”
