Manhattan D.A. takes victory lap, claiming verdict shows ‘no one above law’

Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney responsible for bringing charges against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, delivered a statement to reporters after a jury found the former president guilty on all 34 counts of fraud in his criminal “hush money” trial on Thursday.

The DA, who Trump has said is politically compromised, regurgitated the Democrat mantra claiming the jury’s decision showed no one is above the law, even a former president.

“While this defendant may be unlike any other in American history, we arrived at this trial and ultimately today at this verdict in the same manner as every other case that comes through the courtroom doors,” Bragg said.

The “only voice that matters is the voice of the jury, and the jury has spoken,” Bragg claimed.

Meanwhile, Trump upon exiting the courtroom labeled Bragg a “Soros-backed D.A.” doing the bidding of the radical leftists in the Biden administration, and said The People will make their voice heard on Nov. 5.

“The real verdict is gonna be Nov. 5 by the people, and they know what happened here, and everybody knows what happened here,” Trump told reporters.

“We have a Soros-backed D.A. and the whole thing. We didn’t do a thing wrong. I’m a very innocent man and it’s okay. I’m fighting for our country. I’m fighting for our Constitution. Our whole country is being rigged right now. This was done by the Biden administration in order to hurt an opponent, a political opponent. And I think it is just a disgrace, and we’ll keep fighting, and we’ll fight til the end and we’ll win, because our country’s gone to hell.”

Trump also announced he’ll hold a press conference at the Trump Tower atrium responding to the verdict on Friday at 11AM ET.
